Anchor Bay Boats Looking for Crew
Below are listed boat skippers who need
crew on their boat. Please review and contact as you might
see fit. Most racing boat owners are looking for crew! If you are
willing to spend a few hours in the spring & fall helping launch or
haul out the boat they will bring you on to the boat and teach you
to sail.

Phia-Moon is a beautifully restored 1985 S2 9.1. She is
solid, fast and really fun to sail. She has done well in the
past and will do well again with the right crew and that
could be you!! Re-starting the program. Doing a mix of JAM
and Spinnaker class racing. Relearning the boat after a bit

I race on another boat on Tuesday and race my boat on
Wednesday night. The majority of boats on Wed are relatively
new to racing. If we have enough crew we usually fly the
spinnaker. The crew is composed of men over 50 so our
emphasis is sail fast but sail safe. A willingness to get
along with the rest of the crew is more important than
experience. We try to leave the dock at 6:00pm and return by
9 with reasonable wind.

Looking for someone for bow position. Experience preferred,
but willing to train a person who is quick on their feet,

We have a well equipped boat with crew who all get along well. We
will be racing on Tuesday and DRYA Saturday long distance as well as
Bay Week. We will train new crew. Our goal is to do well and enjoy
the events.
